College Specialist Tips:
Stay the Process. You will be tempted at some point throughout your college career to jump ship. For most this occurs when they have a bad season or a string of bad games. You need to realize that these bad experiences are what help you develop into a better player. Learn from your mistakes and don’t make the same mistake twice.
Stay Consistent. Find your form and stick to it. Same goes for pre-game routines and practices. Find your groove and stick to it. Have the same warm up every time you go out on the football field.
Relax and Have Fun. Enjoy the process as a whole and remember college is where you make a name for yourself as an athlete!
Pro Specialist Tips:
Be a Professional. Making it to the NFL, CFL or AFL is one thing but becoming a leader, role model and teacher is another. Stay humble with the talents you have and continue to work hard every day!
Aim Higher. Now that you are playing with the big dogs it’s time to take it one step further. Can you compete with the all-time greats? Make a mark in history and set your goals high. You never know what you are capable of until you do it.
Remember Your Foundation. Chances are, once you see some of the NFL veterans really killing the ball you will try and outdo them in any way possible. Remember everyone has different mechanics so don’t fall into the black hole of doing what they are doing just because it works for them. Stick with what you know and relax.
